Astronomy Fun Fact #78
Stars are really hot! They have to be with all that force, energy, and enough pressure to fuse hydrogen into helium. But just how hot are they?
Well, it turns out that there's a big range of temperatures for stars, just like there's a big range of stellar masses.
The coolest stars in the universe have temperatures around 3800 degrees Fahrenheit. And the hottest, most massive stars have temperatures >53000 F!
